- Amandalynn Jones Photography - formerly Image Serenity
- This is the website for photographer, Amandalynn Jones. She took the lovely image that is on the home page of my site.
- Rick Nass Illustration
- This is the website for Rick and Rhonda Nass. They are both amazing artists! Be sure to take a minute to browse their site. Rick is also a very talented multi-instrumentalist.
- Neal Barr Photography
- Neal Barr's incredible photography is well known in the fashion and celebrity world. Paula Wegner is his agent, and a very dear friend of mine. We met long ago on a bicycle trip across the U.S., and have been friends ever since. While all of Neal's work is beautifully and tastefully executed, please note that some images on this site may not be appropriate for young children.
- Donna Love
- Donna is another cycling buddy of mine from days gone by. She is also an award winning author of several nature books for children.
- Skip Jones
- Skip is one of the first Wisconsin folk artists that I met. He is a wonderful singer, musician and storyteller, and is also the father of photographer, Amandalynn Jones.
- Simply Folk
- One of my favorite places to tune in for folk music on the airwaves. It's a Wisconsin treasure!

- The International Crane Foundation
- This incredible organization is a treasure 'in my own backyard.' First established in 1973, on a horse farm near Baraboo, Wisconsin, The International Crane Foundation has worked tirelessly over the last three decades to protect rare species of cranes around the world, as well as the habitat they depend on. It's a testimony to what two people with a vision can accomplish.

- The Jane Goodall Institute
- I have long admired Jane Goodall for her remarkable work, her wisdom, passion for living things, and her inspired projects that are making the world a better place one step at a time. Her books have enriched my life, and I dream of a time when I might go to Africa to experience the rich diversity of life, the music, and many cultures found there for myself. I heard her interviewed on NPR not long ago, and her conversation with a young caller to the program moved me to tears. Her Roots and Shoots project for young people is truly visionary.

- The Kids' Ranch
- This is another wonderful organization that is close to home in more ways than one. A dedicated group of professionals and volunteers have created a place that nurtures literacy and self-esteem in children in a creative and compassionate way. My family has been touched by the struggles associated with dyslexia, so I deeply appreciate the work they are doing.
- The Aldo Leopold Foundation

- Wisconsin has a proud conservation heritage, and the Aldo Leopold Foundation is an important part of that tradition. This is another wonderful organization in my neighborhood. The Leopold Center is a marvel of energy efficient design - to quote from their website:
- "The Leopold Center has received Platinum LEED ® Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Following a rigorous assessment, the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program awarded the Leopold Center 61 points of 69 possible points, more than any other buildingin the United States!"

- The Al Ringling Theater
- It's called 'A gem in our midst,' and 'America's Prettiest Playhouse.' I couldn't say it any better myself. If you are ever in Baraboo, WI, The Al Ringling Theater, (more affectionately called, 'The Al,' by locals) is a must see. There are tours available, and events happening throughout the year. If you're lucky, you might even be able to catch a performance on the Mighty Barton Organ!

- Folklore Village
- This is a wonderful place not too far from home that is a haven in the hills for the preservation of folk music and culture. Beautiful Farwell Hall, is a special place to experience the wide variety of events hosted by the Folklore Village each year.

- The Village Booksmith

- No list of links would be complete without this one. The Village Booksmith is THE happening place in Baraboo, WI. Proprietor Annie Randall, is a one woman 'card catalog,' of her amazing inventory, and a tour de force when it comes to hosting a wide variety community events. You will also be greeted by the store's mascot, a Golden Retriever named, Nellie, if she happens to be lounging in her favorite chair the day you visit.
- The next time you are in town, drop by for a cup of coffee, find a cozy nook, and grab a good book. You won't be disappointed.
